چکیده
Fusarium sp. produces various bioactive pigments widely used in pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and the food industry. This study investigated antimicrobial effect of pigment produced from highest pigment-producing strain determined optimum growth conditions agro-industrial residues to obtain maximum production. equiseti, graminearum, poae strains were tested terms their production levels. Pigment quantification was assessed by a UV–Visible Spectrophotometer at 500 nm. Antimicrobial tests Disc Diffusion Well Methods. According our results, amount F. graminearum (p<0.001) malt extract broth (MEB) media (p<0.001). Extracted against B. cereus S. aureus with zone inhibition diameters 10.2 14.9 mm respectively. Initial pH levels 8, 150 rpm rotation speed, 30 ºC temperature, 9 days incubation under light condition MEB as for reddish Moreover, 10-2 times diluted molasses, Turkish feta cheese whey, cheddar whey found suitable low-cost graminearum. Our findings not only represent that might be industry an bio-colorant but also show potential use molasses

Efficient polygalacturonase production from agricultural and agro-industrial residues by solid-state culture of Aspergillus sojae under optimized conditions
Previously identified fungal pectinase producers of the species Aspergillus sojae were used for optimization of polygalacturonase production in solid-state fermentation applying Design of Experiment. The effects of media composition and several process parameters, like inoculum size, moisture level, incubation time and temperature on polygalacturonase activity were studied in screening and opti...
متن کاملDouble-stranded RNA mycovirus from Fusarium graminearum.
Double-stranded RNA (dsRNA) viruses in some fungi are associated with hypovirulence and have been used or proposed as biological control agents. We isolated 7.5-kb dsRNAs from 13 of 286 field strains of Fusarium graminearum isolated from maize in Korea. One of these strains, DK21, was examined in more detail. This strain had pronounced morphological changes, including reduction in mycelial grow...
متن کاملThe hydrolysis of agro-industrial residues by holocellulose-degrading enzymes
Holocellulose structures from agro-industrial residues rely on main and side chain attacking enzymes with different specificities for complete hydrolysis. Combinations of crude enzymatic extracts from different fungal species, including Aspergillus terreus, Aspergillus oryzae, Aspergillus niger and Trichoderma longibrachiatum, were applied to sugar cane bagasse, banana stem and dirty cotton res...
متن کاملEffects of Temperature and Moisture on Development of Fusarium graminearum Perithecia in Maize Stalk Residues.
Fusarium graminearum is the predominant component of the Fusarium head blight complex of wheat. F. graminearum ascospores, which initiate head infection, mature in perithecia on crop residues and become airborne. The effects of temperature (T) and moisture on perithecium production and maturation and on ascospore production on maize stalk residues were determined. In the laboratory, perithecia ...
متن کاملPartial Optimization of Endo-1, 4-Β-Xylanase Production by Aureobasidium pullulansUsing Agro-Industrial Residues
Objective(s): Although bacteria and molds are the pioneering microorganisms for production of many enzymes, yet yeasts provide safe and reliable sources of enzymes with applications in food and feed. Materials and Methods: Single xylanase producer yeast was isolated from plant residues based on formation of transparent halo zones on xylan agar plates. The isolate showed much ...
